Post Giving Day - 2025

For so many young Catholics, college is the turning point: where faith is either strengthened for life or slowly set aside. The result is a generation that’s walking away from the Church like never before.

At Franciscan University of Steubenville, real Catholic formation isn’t left behind. Students are equipped to excel in their careers and boldly live out their faith. Through daily Mass, perpetual adoration, spiritual direction, and friendships rooted in Christ, they are growing in holiness and preparing to bring Christ’s light to a world in desperate need of him.

But 90% of students count on scholarships and financial aid to make this possible.

That’s how an opportunity like Giving Day started here at Franciscan University.

Even though our April 23 Giving Day has ended, we’re still rallying donors to help us support the education and formation of these students by giving to the St. Michael Scholarship Fund.

• You root students in a personal and vibrant sacramental life: From daily Mass to adoration, confession, and spiritual direction, students live out their faith every day.

• You surround them with real Catholic community: Through friendships rooted in Christ, discipleship groups, and campus-wide commitment to holiness, students form lifelong bonds.

• You send them out into the world as bold witnesses for Christ: Whether leading missions, serving the poor, or evangelizing on-campus—students are equipped to be on fire for Christ and fully in the world.
