At Franciscan University of Steubenville, we don’t only have a responsibility to educate students. We have a responsibility to form souls.

That’s why we’ve created an environment where students are immersed in the sacramental life of the Church—making the Mass part of their days, spending time in Eucharistic Adoration, receiving spiritual direction, and forming deep friendships rooted in Christ. All while pursuing academic excellence in the classroom.

But to continue this kind of formation, especially as our student body reaches record highs, we’re humbly asking for the help of alumni, friends, and donors of the University.

Providing this level of spiritual support requires real coordination, cost, and care. Today, what began as a mission to support Catholic students has grown into a full campuswide commitment to serve more than 2,800+ students with 26 Masses a week, over 600 confessions heard each week, 24/7 Adoration, weekly praise and worship, spiritual retreats, and so much more.

That’s why this Giving Tuesday is important. Your gift today will go to immediate work radically forming the next generation of joyful, faithful Catholic leaders.

Because, while research overwhelmingly shows that college is the moment when most students walk away from their faith, the opposite is happening here at Franciscan University. And that’s entirely because of generous supporters like you, who make this formation possible.

• Helping us offer daily Mass to students every day of the academic year, including five liturgies each Sunday in the newly expanded Christ the King Chapel

• Supporting student retreats, praise and worship nights, 24/7 Eucharistic Adoration, and household devotions that nurture faith outside the classroom
