Back to Giving ![]() Honor Paul Nigro ’69 legacy by supporting a student studying political science, philosophy, and/or business-related fields. The Paul Nigro Legacy Scholarship carries on the mission of an extraordinary Franciscan alumnus, leader, and advocate. Paul Nigro studied philosophy at the then-College of Steubenville, serving as president of both the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and the Philosophy Club. A dedicated alumnus, he played a key role in reconnecting graduates from the 1960s and 1970s, restoring NCAA athletics, and expanding student opportunities at Franciscan University. Founded in his memory, this scholarship provides financial assistance to students studying political science, philosophy, or the Accounting, Business Administration, and Economics Department—empowering the next generation of leaders to follow in his footsteps. Your gift continues his work to encourage faith, leadership, and service.
